Our
practice

Moving countries involves deadlines, forms and document requirements that change frequently, and a filing mistake can cost months. Our role is to reduce that friction: identify the correct immigration route, prepare a complete application and follow it through to a decision.

We assist both people arriving in Brazil and Brazilians settling abroad, including families whose legal relationships span multiple legal systems.

When immigration intersects with family or succession matters — binational marriage, custody with parents in different countries, assets in another jurisdiction — we coordinate the work rather than treat it as isolated proceedings.

Frequently asked questions

Can't find your question? Write to us: we answer every message personally.

Ask a question
What is the difference between a visa and a residence permit?

A visa is issued abroad and authorises entry into the country. A residence permit allows you to stay and is generally requested once in Brazil.

Does marrying a Brazilian entitle me to residence?

A family relationship is one of the grounds for a residence permit, but it requires evidence of the relationship and compliance with the other legal requirements.

How long does an immigration process take?

It depends on the category and responsible authority. At the initial assessment we give a realistic estimate and identify common causes of delay.

Do I need to be in Brazil to start the process?

Not always. Some applications begin at the consulate in the country of origin. We determine this at the first assessment according to the chosen route.
